I'm still young, and fairly inexperienced in life.  I enjoy writing about the few things that I know, and I enjoy learning.

I've recently discovered that I love animals.  My life situation at the moment doesn't allow me to do much with this newfound passion, other than learn as much as I can.  I'm rather excited about the prospect of being able to finally take my education to the next level, and be able to work with animals, rather than simply read about how to care for them.

I'm hoping to work for the Seattle Humane Society starting in 2010.  I'll probably start out as a kennel technician, which is a fancy term for someone who does basic work in a shelter.  I don't have a specific career in mind; I've thought about furthering my study of dog behavior and maybe becoming a behavioral specialist, or becoming a veterinary technician.

At the moment, I am living in San Antonio, my hometown, waiting for my baby boy to be born.  As I write this on the 20th of July, 2009, he is overdue by a few days.  I am spending my time mostly on the Internet and watching TV (mostly Animal Planet).

My experiences are varied, and my writing reflects that.  I write from my own observations and experiences.  My writing style is, I suppose, more that of a blogger.  As I write more, I hope my style develops and matures, until I can start including proper sources for the things that I write about.  Constructive criticism is always appreciated.  Criticism in general is appreciated, because if it's not constructive, it's usually something that I can laugh at, which is beneficial to me, even if it's not helping to improve my writing.
